Roberto Bado

Roberto Badò lives in Milan, Italy. He has a degree in Communications (Film) and Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He started working in advertising in the US for Armando Testa in New York. He then moved back to Italy where he worked for BGS following the Swatch account, covering many roles in the agency, Account Executive, Copywriter, Art Director and Producer. He was then called by Wieden & Kennedy/Amsterdam to lead the local office and manage advertising in Italy, primarily for Nike, Coca Cola, Microsoft and Benelli Scooters. After a brief period in a production company acting as executive producer, he moved to directing commercials full time.  

Stemming from a passion for telling real stories with real people and combined with his vast experience seeing almost all corners of the globe, Roberto’s desire to find humanity in his work allows for a genuine connection between the audience and the piece.  

For the past twelve years, he's trotted the globe creating pieces of film for clients around the world. When he's not living out of a packed suitcase, he divides his time between fishing, collecting records and cooking. He's good to go in Italian, French, English and a little Spanish.
